Artist turns Disney princesses and Sailor Moon into stunning traditional Japanese prints

Traditional ukiyo-e woodblock paintings can be Japan’s most iconic form of art. While it thrived from 17th to 19th centuries, the fashion still survives nowadays with contemporary subjects together with David Bowie and NBA stars. Talented illustrator and manga artist Ono Tako (@ono800) is keeping that fashion alive with their clearly excellent ukiyo-e renditions of Disney princesses and Sailor Moon.
