Iconic Japanese “moving ramen” display is now a capsule toy which actually moves

If you’ve been to Japan before, chances are you’ve seen a “moving ramen” display in front of a ramen shop.

Ever popular among foreign tourists, they come in different shapes and sizes, but they almost always have one thing in common: a pair of chopsticks clasping stands of ramen noodles going up and down and up and down, perpetually feeding an unseen mouth in a never-ending motion, reminding anyone who sees them that delicious bowls of piping-hot noodles await them inside the shop.
If you haven’t seen one before, here’s one in front of the famous Ramen Museum in Yokohama:

Now, thanks to the folks at capsule toy and novelty maker Kitan Club, you can have your very own version of the iconic Japanese display, albeit in miniature size. And in case you were wondering, yes, they move just like the real thing!
