Sometimes when we were kids, we used to draw tons of things on leaves. Leaves are so common to us since we see them everywhere; we stopped thinking about their versatility. However, one Japanese artist decided to use leaves as his canvas, and now he does magnificent leaf art. He draws full-out detailed scenes in small leaves that we’ve never seen elsewhere.
lito_leafart’s adorable creations range from critters in the supermarket to penguins perched on top of a turtle. Each leaf tells its own story and can be held in your hands like a children’s book illustration. He holds up each leaf to the sun before taking a photograph.
Each leaf will eventually die, but lito_leafart continues to expand her portfolio. As a result of ADHD, the talented artist creates one piece per day. This is to help him focus and calm down. His artistic talent and patience are evident in each leaf.
Check out his art and give him a follow on Instagram if you like what he does!
