Samurai have left such an impact on Japanese history that people from all over the world incorporate them in their movies and games. They are known for their utmost discipline and loyalty.
They first appeared on historical records in the tenth century and gained more reputation through their amazing skills in the field of archery, swordsmanship, and horse riding.
Even though the real samurai with their proper swords and armor is very hard if not impossible to find these days, photos of these glorious military classes are still around for us to witness.
Old photos are generally black and white in color and don’t really let us appreciate the true colors of the magnificent era. However, people have tried recoloring these old photos to revitalize them. Similarly, we here have brought some hand-colorized photos of these great protectors of the Emperors that were dissolved in the late 18th century.
