At 18-years-old most of us weren’t sure of what to do and were pretty clueless. And here is Haru Otomi, whose color pencil art is so realistic that you could hardly believe that it’s actually a drawing.
Every year he seems to have improved. He displays incredible attention to detail that pushes the boundaries of photorealism. He has also drawn adorable cats and even a bunny rabbit in this past year.
This is a stunning profile shot of a cat.
Back in 2019, he drew an exceptionally realistic cat. His drawing went viral on several websites like Grapee and such. In 2020, he presented his stunning drawing of a cheetah.

It isn’t easy to believe that it’s not a photograph, from the color of the fur to the incredible detail in its hair and whiskers to the reflection in her beautiful green eyes.
Look at this picture below. Would you have thought it to be a drawing at the first sight?

This drawing shows a rabbit with beautiful caramel brown fur.
We thought it appropriate to present his tiger drawings as we entered the Year of the Tiger. This tiger is not like the growling cheetah that we introduced last year. It has a sweet side, captured by Otomi’s skillful touch in a candid moment it licks its chops.
