A 6.3 magnitude earthquake struck an isolated Japanese island in the Pacific early on Tuesday; however, the tsunami warning was not issued, authorities declared. 
The underwater quake that measured 43.4 km (27.0 miles) in-depth struck around the time of 3:02 at near Bonin Islands, locally known as Ogasawara Islands or Chichijima islands, the United States Geological Survey said.
The islands are located around 1,000 kilometers to the south of Tokyo, which manages them. The Japan Meteorological Agency stated that its equipment showed the earthquake’s strength was 6.3 magnitude.
The agency stated that there was no evidence of the possibility of a tsunami being caused by the earthquake. A local official informed the national radio station NHK that there were no severe or significant injuries reports. Power and water service remained unaffected. Municipal staff is looking over the region.
A few residents complained that glassware and dishes were thrown off tables or shelves within their homes, as per NHK.
