Japanese Photographer Insert Herself into her Childhood Photos

Photographer Chino Otsuka has been able to make that impossible journey back into her past, thanks to her mastery of Photoshop.

In her captivating series Imagine Finding Me, she flawlessly places herself into numerous photos from her childhood, standing, sitting, or lying next to her former self. Her illusory work has earned her the title of “The Time-Traveling Photographer”, a concept she relates to.

“The digital process becomes a tool, almost like a time machine, as I’m embarking on the journey to where I once belonged and at the same time becoming a tourist in my own history,” admits Otsuka
