South Korean actor Jung Hae-in has been awfully busy these days, mostly because of the hit success of his Netflix Series, “D.P” last August. Tons of new offers for roles have piled up on the actor’s doorstep. Among them, the drama “Connect” might possibly be his next project.
FNC Entertainment announced that Jung Hae-in has been offered the lead role in “Connect,” which will be directed by Takashi Miike, a Japanese director. The project offer is also being reviewed by “Something in the Rain,” star Jung Hae-in.
This series will tackle the story of a man who had his organs stolen by organ hunters. He will then become involved with the recipient of his organs.
Takashi Miike, a Japanese director, is a respected filmmaker. His works “13 Assassins”, “Ichi the Killer,” and “Audition” have been recognized in Japan and abroad. “Connect” will be his directorial debut on the Korean side.
Jung Hae-in, the 33-year-old actor, is kind, charming, talented, and passionate. He has been acting for nearly eight seven years. Yet, his name remains one of the favorites of the crowd.
Jung Hae-in started in small roles and eventually became the main actor in his projects. He worked hard to build his reputation. Along his chosen career path, he also met genuine and talented people like Lee Je Hoon.
Recently the rumor has it that in the “Unframed” movie by Lee Je Hoon, which is his first directorial debut, Jung Hae-in will be in the lead. The most interesting part is that Hae In is doing it for free! “Unframed” will be out on Watcha, an online streaming platform, by December.
