This year, for the first time, cherry blossoms will bloom at Lindt establishments. Businesses in Japan are as of now arranging for spring as we start the 2022 year, giving us a taste of what to anticipate when the cherry bloom season arrives in a couple of months.
Lindt is among the first firms to jump on board this year; starting today, they will bring us “the world’s first Sakura Lindor”!
While Lindt has experimented with sakura-flavored drinks and macarons during the hanami season in Japan, this is the first time the Swiss chocolatier has included sakura-flavored chocolate to their world-famous Lindor chocolate ball assortment.
With a cherry-flavored center enclosed in a white chocolate shell containing strawberry powder, the new sakura taste is touted to “delicately depict Japan’s wonderful spring season.”
Despite its presence in over 120 countries, Lindt claims that this new product will only be offered in Japan. It goes for 781 yen per 100 grams or in special bundles with distinctive sakura packaging.
Sakura gift sacks and boxes will be accessible for a constrained time, with minor and medium blessing packs costing ¥100 and ¥150. From mid-January to the end of May, Lindor Sakura and supporting packages and packaging will be offered exclusively at Lindt stores in Japan for a limited time.
