People In Japan Are Cooking Food On Their Cars!

While many of us are sitting there and complaining about the summer heat, people in Japan, as always, have decided to take matters into their own hands!

In case you don’t know, summers in Japan are crazy HOT! Though the temperatures vary around the country and are usually over 30 °C (86 °F), sometimes they go as high as 40°C (104°F)!! Even the humidity is rarely below 50%. According to WeatherNews.jp, recently reported that when the temperature is 35 °C (95 °F), the inside of a black car with closed windows and no sunshade can get as hot as 57°C (134 °F), while the dashboard can reach temperatures around 79 °C (174 °F)!

If you started to feel kinda bad about the Japanese, then worry not because they’ve found a brilliant way to make use of the insufferable heat. They basically decided to use their cars as ovens. Yep, you read that right…Many people in Saitama, a city where the temperatures reach as high as 35 °C, are using their cars to fry ham or eggs. They put a 10-pack on the dashboard in the morning, and by the evening the eggs were nicely soft-boiled.

If you don’t feel like cooking food in your car, the Japanese have you covered again! The trick to cool down your car is to open t the windows on the passenger side, then open and close the driver’s door about five times. Apparently, the pressure drives the hot air out, giving you space to cool down your car with AC.
