Haneda Airport in Tokyo, Japan is Crowned as World’s Cleanest Airport

Japan is a country full of beautiful cities and magnificent technological marvels. It’s no surprise that Tokyo is also one of the most beautiful cities.

Similarly, Skytrax‘s 2020/2021 World Airport Survey also revealed that Tokyo’s Haneda Airport (Tokyo) and Narita International Airport (Tokyo) were among the top five busiest and advanced airports globally.

Haneda Airport ranked No. 2 in the overall ranking. This is just behind Hamad International Airport, Doha, which outperformed all others with its world-class art installations, squash courts, swimming pool, and other outstanding facilities. Singapore Changi Airport and Seoul Incheon International Airport are third and fourth, respectively. Narita International Airport was ranked fifth.

Skytrax has awarded Haneda Airport a five-star quality rating for seven years. Only 12 airports are certified with five stars. Tokyo Haneda Airport is the only one of five busiest airports in the world to have received “first rate” status.

In a separate ranking of the world’s cleanest airports, Tokyo came out on top. Haneda Airport is currently the world’s leader, while Narita came in third place. Singapore placed in the middle of these two.

Since the pandemic has taken quite a toll on Japan, it must have been some time that you haven’t been to the airport. However, you can rest assured that you can enjoy the airport in its glory after they reopen after this whole situation is over.
